Wedding days rarely go as planned. The weather can be unpredictable (check out my blog for how to handle rain during a photoshoot) , timelines can go off track, and life just happens. And this Arbor Crest winery wedding was not immune to the unexpected.

On the morning of Rachel and Levi’s wedding, we woke up to a forecast that was showing clouds and rain showers. All. Day. Long. We were obviously hoping that their arbor crest winery wedding would include sunshine and May flowers, but instead we were at the mercy of Spokane weather and there was no other choice but to embrace the rain and make the most out of it.

And guess what? I wouldn’t have changed a thing about it! The rain didn’t ruin a thing and instead it ended up being such a fun memory for everyone. Like when the bridesmaids ran through the rain like they were in a movie, or when Levi had to balance the umbrella while putting on Rachels ring.

It would be easy to feel discouraged when you’re dealt with unexpected weather, but Rachel and Levi chose to stay positive which meant their photos turned out absolutely perfect and so THEM! Luckily they also chose a beautiful venue: Arbor Crest Winery is so versatile and has so many spots that we were able to utilize and get some great photos with. Just take a look for yourself-
