Would you believe me if i told you that we went to the Oregon coast in February and got beautiful blue skies and gorgeous weather? Well it’s true and it turned out to be one of my favorite couples photoshoot on the beach ever!
If you’re not from the PNW, it should be known that from mid-January to early March it is one of the coldest times of the year for us. (Take a look here at another couples photoshoot on the beach that was shot only a day later to get a better idea of what the coast will typically look like during winter!) So you can imagine our excitement when the sky daddy blessed us with some gorgeous weather. And boy were we going to take advantage of it!
Avery and Ty drove to the Oregon coast from Washington for the weekend to be apart of a content day and boy was it worth it! These two came to life in front of the camera. We started our session in mid-day bright sun at the Hug Point State Park and we were able to hangout next to the ocean and capture some beautiful landscapes.
We could’ve spent all day running around on the beach at Hug Point, exploring the caves and kicking around sand, but we wanted the full Oregon Coast experience, so we set out and drove to Canon Beach.
We wanted to get pictures in front of the iconic Haystack Rock and let me just say this: DO IT! By the time we got there, the sun was just beginning to set and we got the most epic golden and even blue hour photos.
